Perfect Sunday Morning Ride

We are pleased that you have found us while looking for a management system solution to meet your company’s needs.
We specialise in integrated systems, which are systems that meet all quality, safety, environmental, legal, and contractual requirements in one centralised set of documents. We implement the simplest and most effective procedures and forms to allow your team to get out of the office and back onsite as quickly as possible.
Systematic Construction’s mission is to make management systems work for your construction company, and to save you time, money, and angst while meeting all of your legal and contractual obligations. We believe that simple and effective integrated systems not only meet your clients’ needs, but they also enable you to get back to work – and doing it better than ever before!
Management systems that meet the following requirements are our speciality:
Our experience lies in the construction industry, and we have worked with:
Want to get third-party certification for your company so that you can work on the most exciting projects in Australia or win government-funded projects? We offer complete, simple, and effective management systems that we guarantee will gain you third-party certification to ISO9001, 14001, and AS4801 without sentencing your staff to paperwork duty in the office for days on end.
Ready to step up your health and safety management and compete for federally funded projects? We can come in, do a gap analysis of your current system, conduct site inspections, revise your documentation to comply with all of the requirements, and help you achieve this goal.
Do you already have a system but need help determining what to write on prequalification application forms? We have helped companies gain prequalification with the following authorities: New South Wales Department of Commerce, Queensland Main Roads National Prequalification, Roads and Transport Authority National Prequalification, ACT Shared Services Procurement Prequalification, NT Contractor Accreditation Limited (CAL), and various Tier One Construction and Mining Companies.
Are you getting the most out of your internal audits? For an audit to be effective, the auditor must be independent from the processes being audited. Do you have an independent auditor who is trained in internal audits within your company? Is there tension within your project teams when the systems manager goes onsite to audit? It may be helpful to bring in an independent third party to get better results from your internal audits.
Perhaps you don’t have time to keep up with the documentation required to implement your management systems, but your business isn’t quite large enough to handle the overhead of a full-time systems manager. We can come to your business for a flat-day rate and make sure that your management system is working for you, and that you have checked all of the boxes in time for your next audit.
If you just got stung on an audit and lack the in-house resources to address the non-conformances issued, we can come in and work with you to implement a plan that will close out any raised non-conformance while improving your system. We will liaise with the certification body while you focus on keeping your projects on time and within budget.
While studying civil engineering at university, I landed my first construction industry job at a civil engineering company in the quality, safety, and environmental management system hot seat. With no experience in this field, I learnt about management systems from the ground up and wrote an integrated management system that met ISO9001, I4001, and AS4801 within 12 months of starting work at the company. I ultimately decided to pursue management systems as my career path, and I have worked diligently to gain more knowledge and improve the effectiveness of management systems within numerous companies.
I have eight years of experience, and my career highlights include auditing projects at Parliament House in Canberra, creating environmental plans for projects in World Heritage Rainforests, working on a $47 million school project, and writing complete systems for construction and design companies. I absolutely love solving problems, and I am always looking for ways to do it better.
To maintain industry exposure, I also work as a consultant third-party certification auditor.

At start-up, we ask many questions so that we are clear on what you want and when you want it. With a fresh approach, we use our extensive knowledge of management systems to meet all of the requirements in the simplest and most effective way. To prove that we are not like other unsatisfactory consultants, we offer 100% money back should we fail to meet your desired outcome.
Yes, ISO9001 and 14001 are due for release in late 2015, and if we work with you prior to their release, we will update your system free of charge to meet the revised requirements.
Of course, but you probably shouldn’t.
Using another companies system, even if that company delivers the same product as you, is not ideal. To avoid being held back by a system that wasn’t written for your company, it may be better to use that system as inspiration and work with a consultant to create a unique system that will allow you to deliver projects better than another companies system.
I know from experience that people who have bought cheap, off-the-shelf systems have taken up to six months to tailor the documentation to their company’s needs. A commanding knowledge of systems is absolutely necessary, but if you have more time than money, this is one way to get a compliant system. As your company grows, a good consultant would be able to come in and work alongside you to make your system even better.
Various management system software has been making its way to the market lately, but I have yet to find one that meets all of the quality, safety, and environmental requirements and is easy to use. When/if I find software I can recommend, I will share information about it.
This really depends on your company size, the capability of your staff (how much training they will need), what system you have been using, and the resources you can commit to getting the system in place.
